PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow warning of slight tire air pressure abnormality while suppressing increase of the cost and complication of writing work even when the tire is changed into a different specification. SOLUTION: An air pressure warning device comprises a control unit 20 for making a warning machine 30 warn an air pressure state of the tire determined based on a comparison of a detected tire air pressure with a threshold for determination set related to a suitable tire air pressure. The control unit 20 is constituted so as to perform a step of adjusting the tire air pressure to the suitable tire air pressure corresponding to the specification of the tire, a step of storing an actual tire air pressure received by the control unit 20 after the adjustment, and a step of setting and registering the threshold for determination based on the stored tire air pressure. Therefore, the tire air pressure is adjusted to the suitable tire air pressure corresponding to the specification of the tire after the change, the actual tire air pressure after the adjustment is stored as the suitable tire air pressure corresponding to the specification of the tire after the change, and the threshold for determination is set and registered based on the stored actual tire air pressure.
