Disclosed is a method for recording operational data of a technical installation, according to which a command sequence is initially generated and transmitted to a monitoring unit (10) in the technical installation. The command sequence is processed in the monitoring unit (10) by a computer (12). Also disclosed are a device for recording operational data and a computer program for carrying out the inventive method.
