<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform partial power operation whose power is sufficiently lowered with respect to that of rated power operation while suppressing increase in pumping loss in a spark ignition engine 100. <P>SOLUTION: A temperature adjusting means A is provided to adjust a temperature of air-fuel mixture m formed in a fuel supply means 15 and flowing through an intake passage 1. Further, a partial power operation means B is provided to perform the partial power operation whose power is sufficiently lowered with respect to that of the rated power operation, by operating the temperature adjusting means A to set the temperature of the air-fuel mixture to be higher than that at a time of the rated power operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
