摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide steel which is excellent in impact characteristics and corrosion resistance and suitable as a material for a container, such as an autoclave for producing artificial quartz crystals, used in a corrosive environment at a high temperature under a superhigh pressure. SOLUTION: This steel comprises 0.05-0.50% C, 0.20% or lower Si, 0.80-1.50% Mn, 0.30% or lower Ni, 1.0-3.0% Cr, 1.3-2.0% Mo, 0.10-0.50% V, 0.005% or lower Ca if desired, and the balance being Fe and unavoidable impurities, has an improved toughness while retaining high strength, can control the shape of nonmetallic inclusions as composite spheres, can suppress the viscosity deformation of the inclusions, can reduce the macro- and micro-segregation in the steel, and can provide highly reliable high-temperature superhigh-pressure apparatus and members.
