PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a pattern such as a letter and a figure having an effect approximate to a hologram on a card during a process for producing the card.

SOLUTION: In a method for molding a card in which a forgery preventing discrimination description applicable to a credit card and an ordinary bank financing card is formable, a necessary pattern provided by a client is engraved on a basic plate and the pattern on the basic plate is reproduced on the surface of a card main body by an injection molding technology and then, a metal layer is formed by sputtering on the surface of the card by a sputtering system and a reflecting effect is increased thereby and a printing layer is printed on the surface of the card.
