<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a small and highly reliable optical device by bonding optical elements without using an organic adhesive. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the optical device by bonding the optical elements without using the adhesive comprises the steps of: applying polish, cleaning, and hydrophilic treatment at least to each of the surfaces to be bonded of the optical elements; bonding the surfaces to be bonded of the optical elements; applying first heat treatment at a first heat treatment temperature T1(°C); and, after cutting processing, applying a second heat treatment at second heat treatment temperature T2(°C) higher than the first heat treatment temperature T1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
