PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape for a lead-on-chip (LOC). SOLUTION: The tape for an LOC comprises a polyamide film made from a polyimide substantially consisting of a diamine component comprising above 80 to 100 mol% p-phenylenediamine component and a tetracarboxylic acid component comprising above 80 to 100 mol% pyromellitic acid and having two crossing directions having a Young's modulus of above 10 GPa in the surface.
