METHOD OF MANUFACTURING AUTOCLAVED LIGHTWEIGHT CONCRETE (ALC) AND MATERIAL FOR MANUFACTURING ALC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize a by-product fine powder yielded in recovering aggregate from waste concrete. SOLUTION: In manufacturing an autoclaved lightweight concrete by casting a mixture comprising a siliceous material and a calcareous material as major ingredients with the addition of a proper amount of a foaming agent into a mold, foaming, hardening for a required period of time to form a semi-plastic body and curing it in an autoclave, a by-product fine powder yielded in recovering aggregate from waste concrete after heated at 100-500°C is used as a part of the materials. Besides, a raw material for manufacturing an autoclaved lightweight concrete is formed by a substance comprising the by-product fine powder. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
