PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a step storing device for a door way used comfortably even a rainy day without impairing beauty of the whole building, by installing a storing shelf for storing a trash can or the like, and using a step for the door way as a storage. SOLUTION: The step storing device adjoining the door way of the building is arranged in the outdoor side, comprises: a step body 1 forming a side in the same finishing as a continuous footing B1 of the building B; a storing shelf 2 installed in parallel with a building external wall B3 at a position spacing an interval with the building external wall B3 on the step body 1; an underfloor storage 3 providing an opening part 12 on a step floor face between the building external wall B3 and the storing shelf 2, and providing a cover body 31 openably covering the opening part 12; and a roof panel 4 provided upward of the step body 1.
