New adenoviral vector, useful as therapeutic agent or vaccine, derived from human adenovirus type 11 but with specific components from a different serotype

Viral vector (A) is based on the sequence of human adenoviral (AdV) serotype 11 but contains the inverted terminal repeats (ITR) and packaging signal (psi) from a virus of different serotype. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) vector construct (VC) containing the components of (A) or suitable for preparation of (A); and (2) cell line that can be infected by human AdV 11 and complements deletions in (A).
