<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera capable of preventing failure from occurring in consecutive photography by the flashing of a stroboscope emit light. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU 31 arithmetically calculates the flashing quantity of a stroboscopic device 100 required to perform photographing once in the consecutive photography, and arithmetically calculates the number of photographing times that the stroboscope can emit the light in the consecutive photography based on the arithmetically calculated flashing quantity required to perform photographing once and the present charge amount of the device 100.
