hydraulic engineering; liquid handling submersible pumps. SUBSTANCE: submersible centrifugal pump has spiral outlet, curvilinear diffuser and turnable elbow. Impeller is installed on shaft in outlet. Axis of curvilinear diffuser is bent towards axis of impeller rotation and it changes without bends into middle line of turnable elbow which forms clothoids (spirals of Cornu) in projections of longitudinal section of turnable elbow onto horizontal and vertical planes. Invention makes it possible to improve design of submersible centrifugal pump. EFFECT: reduced radial dimensions, mass and cost of pump at increased economy in operation and possibility of operation in narrow wells. 3 dwg |
