PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multistoried warehouse capable of realizing the optimum article storing configuration, quickly taking in and out even a large and heavy article, and effectively utilizing a comparatively narrow site space. SOLUTION: A multistoried storage part 4 formed by stacking plural storage spaces 3 respectively capable of loading a stored objects 2, is constructed to surround an article conveying machine 5 capable of carrying the stored object 2 from the outside to the inside of the storage space 3, and carrying out the stored objects during the storage from the inside to the outside of the storage space 3, and comprises a mechanical direction changing means 6 for changing the direction of the article conveying machine 5 within a horizontal plane, and a mechanical height changing means for changing a position in the vertical direction of the article conveying machine 5.
