摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate a duct for earthquake resistance without requiring expertise. SOLUTION: A customer 11 applying for the installation of a gas supply line to a normal/emergency mono-fuel gas combustion generating facility can receive a simple evaluation on earthquake resistance by accessing an earthquake-resistance evaluation system 10 constructed by a server 21 on the Internet 20. The evaluation on earthquake resistance is performed as it is separated into primary determination based on route information inputted by the customer 11, a topographical information database such as a detailed topographical classification database, and the relationship between liquefaction and the kind of piping, and secondary determination which allows for the influences of target structures near the route of the line. If the line fails in the evaluation, the kind of piping or the route of the line is changed for re-evaluation or for estimating the cost required for repair. If the line passes, the detailed evaluation plan required to apply to an evaluation committee is also set up.
