PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer belt which is inexpensive and on whose surface electric resistance is not lowered with the lapse of time, and an image recorder using the same. SOLUTION: In the image recorder 1, ID (image drum) units 2 to 5 in respective colors K, Y, M and C are arranged on a transfer belt unit 6. The ID units 2 to 5 have the same constitution, and are respectively provided with a photoreceptor drum 7, an electrifying roller 8 and a developing roller 9. An LED head 10 is fixed and installed on an upper cover, and exists at a position where it exposes the drum 7 in a state where the cover is closed. The unit 6 is equipped with the transfer belt 13 using a polyurethane resin agent as the principal base resin agent of the belt and having specified width and peripheral length on rollers 11 and 12.
