<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct incision, transpiration, and discharge-clotting to tissues in a conductive solution with less power. <P>SOLUTION: A high frequency power source 5 acts as a high frequency generating means to generate a high frequency current. On a tip part 21 of a resectoscope 2, an electrode is provided. The electrode at the tip part 21 transmits the high frequency current from the high frequency power source 5 to living body tissues. A physiological saline pack 3 and a liquid feed tube 4 form a liquid feed means to feed conductive solution through the resectoscope 2 toward the electrode. A valve 81, a gas cylinder 82, and a gas feed tube 83 form a gas feed means to feed gas feed gas through the resectoscope 2 toward the electrode. The gas feed gas of the gas cylinder 82 promotes generation of discharge from the electrode when the high frequency current is generated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
