PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the combustion of grill oil collected in a grill tray by making narrow a space between a bottom face in the grill tray and a thermal insulating plate for grill oil guide and reducing a quantity of oxygen in the space. SOLUTION: In the heating cooker equipped with upper and lower heaters 9 and 10 for heating an object 14 to be cooked, a grill net 11 for placing the object 14 to be cooked thereon and a grill tray 12 provided on the lower portion of the grill net 11 for receiving grill oil 16 from the object 14 to be cooked within a grill cabinet 7c of a body 1, a thermal insulating plate 13 for grill oil guide having a plurality of holes 13a is installed within the grill tray 12 while keeping a gap (h) with the inner bottom face of the grill tray 12, and the thermal insulating plate 12 is held on the lower part of the lateral side of the grill tray 12 or on its bottom face.
