PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sleeve adhesion method which prevents an applied adhesives from oozing out of an overlap width of a blank when adhering the blank punched from a paperboard in a designated shape, and a paper container formed by using the adhered sleeve. SOLUTION: The blank comprises an unprocessed part and a processed part. The processed part has a press ruled line which is provided at the both ends of the overlap width given at one end of the main part of the unprocessed blank or at one end of the main part side in parallel to the long side of the overlap width. The adhesives is linearly applied on the center of the overlap width of the processed blank in parallel to the press ruled line. The blank applied with adhesives is wound around a mandrel of sleeve molding part. The overlap width and the main part end are overlapped via the adhesives. With the sleeve adhesion method, at applying a pressure to the outside of the overlapped processed blank by a seam clamp without covering the press ruled line, an excessive amount of the adhesives extended by pressurizing is squeezed into the press ruled line, thereby not to be oozed out of the overlap width.
