PURPOSE: An upright vacuum cleaner is provided to treat pollutant from a cyclone dust collector conveniently by separating a pollutant collecting container from the cyclone dust collector simply. CONSTITUTION: An upright vacuum cleaner is composed of a body(20) having a dust collecting chamber(21), a motor driving chamber, an air inlet passage(25) and an air outlet passage(26); a cyclone body(31) placed in the upper part of the dust collecting chamber, and connected to air inlet and outlet passages; a pollutant collecting container(37) placed in the lower part of the cyclone body, and installed separably; a suction brush(50) installed in the lower part of the vacuum cleaner body with moving for cleaning; and a fine dust filtering unit(40) installed separably in air inlet and outlet passages. The pollutant collecting container is separated from the cyclone body with an assembling/disassembling unit(60) without separating the cyclone dust collector. |
