PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deviation in a position of a reflection type liquid crystal display panel. SOLUTION: This reflection type liquid crystal device is composed of the reflection type liquid crystal display panel mounted at least on a circuit board, a casing which positions and fixes a light shielding member covering the part other than display area on the upper surface of the reflection type liquid crystal display panel, a light transmission member, a light diffusion member, polarizing plates and a semi-transmission type reflection sheet, and a substrate. Therein, the reflection type liquid crystal display panel is positioned and fixed by the positioning member disposed on the substrate. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
