PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a worker has a fear of being exposed when approaching radiation-contaminated equipment to be cleaned while preparing a cleaning work, and that, in the case of the radiation-contaminated equipment having a high dose, he can not even approach the equipment for preparing the cleaning work, to thereby naturally give up performing the cleaning work, and that resultantly the radiation-contaminated equipment having a high dose becomes a radioactive waste. SOLUTION: This device comprises a frame hanged by a conveyance device and conveyed between a decontamination place for cleaning the cleaning object and another place, an external jet nozzle for jetting cleaning fluid around the external surface of the cleaning object, a nozzle driving mechanism installed on the frame for controlling turning of the external jet nozzle with a prescribed radius from the center point and its motion in the vertical direction, a scattering prevention cover installed on the frame for preventing scattering of the cleaning fluid, a hoist installed on the frame for hoisting and lowering the scattering prevention cover, a cleaning fluid supply means for supplying the nozzle with the cleaning fluid, a waste liquid processing device for processing a waste liquid in the decontamination place, and an operation part for performing remote operation of the conveyance device, the nozzle driving mechanism and the hoist.
