The unit for handling products (2), in particular plant produce, to be fed to a packaging station comprises a station (11) for dividing the products (2), which are bulk fed to the station (11) by an elevator (5), into groups (12); a station (13) where the product groups (12) are accumulated and weighed; two lines (18, 19) for transferring the groups (12) of discharged products from the accumulation and weighing station (13) to the packaging station, each transfer line (18, 19) comprising, in succession, a first conveyor (20) that moves continuously and a second conveyor (21) that moves intermittently, to feed a batch of the products (2) of defined weight to the packaging station. <IMAGE>
