<p>PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for processing a protocol, and an apparatus and a method for processing a traffic are provided to process the protocol of a data packet, using a network system in which a master and a slave are combined. CONSTITUTION: A main packet processing unit(420) analyzes a header of at least one main packet having an occupation rate of a certain value or more with respect to the entire packet inputted from the outside, and performs an additional process associated with the first protocol corresponding to the header or a payload of at least one main packet. At least one sub-packet processing unit(430) analyzes a header of at least one sub-packet having an occupation rate of the certain value or less with respect to the inputted entire packet, and performs an additional process associated with the second protocol corresponding to the header or a payload of at least one sub-packet. At least one main packet is packetized by the first protocol, and at least one sub-packet is packetized by the second protocol.</p> |
