<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulating substrate which prevents the generation of an imperfect insulation defect due to cissing or the like, has high dielectric strength and superior output yield, and is suitable for manufacturing a solar battery cell. <P>SOLUTION: An upper layer insulating film 3 is formed on the surface of a metal substrate 1, via a lower layer insulating film 2 composed of heat- resistant resin. The insulating film 3 is formed of a heat-resistant resin coating material in which pigment is compounded, and its surface roughness is regulated to be Ra: 0.02-0.25μm and R<SB>max</SB>: 0.2-2.5μm. Thicknesses of the films 2, 3 are in a range of 1-40μm, and the total thickness of the films is preferably at least 20μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
