PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data communication device in which a document received by a facsimile can be operated from a portable terminal equipment such as a mobile terminal device. SOLUTION: When there is facsimile reception, a system control part 1117 notifies a portable terminal equipment 12 of the facsimile reception and as a response to the notice, the operating command of a document stored in a storage device is received from the portable terminal equipment to carry out the relevant operating command.
