PURPOSE: A coupling bolt fixing method is provided to fix a fixing member to a coupling member at a low cost and to prevent the fixing member from being deformed caused by a welding work. CONSTITUTION: A coupling bolt fixing method comprises the steps of preparing a pressed section(15a) between a head section(11) of a coupling bolt(10) and a screw section(13) of the coupling bolt(10) in such a manner that the pressed section(15a) has a sectional area larger than a sectional area of the screw section(13). A perforation hole(31) is formed in the fixing member corresponding to a sectional shape of the pressed section(15a). The coupling bolt(10) is inserted such that the pressed section(15a) is positioned in the perforation hole(31). Then, a peripheral portion of the perforation hole(31) is deformed so as to press-fit an inner peripheral portion of the perforation hole to an outer peripheral portion of the pressed section(15a).
