PURPOSE: A valve device for a heat pump type refrigerating cycle is provided to simplify structure by integrating a valve. CONSTITUTION: A valve device comprises a valve body(1) having a valve seat(2) formed therein in axial direction, having an even number of tube connecting holes(3a,3b,4a,4b) formed perpendicularly to the valve seat to face each other at regular intervals, and having working fluid supply tubes(6,6') connected to both ends thereof; a valve(8) having circulation holes(9) formed thereon at regular intervals twice as far as the intervals between the tube connecting holes, and inserted to the valve seat to reciprocate so as to form pressure chambers(P1,P2) on both sides thereof together with both of the ends of the valve body; and a working fluid escaping tube(15) connected to the pressure chambers and the working fluid supply tube. Diameters of the pressure chambers are formed larger than a diameter of the valve seat to form protrusions(10,10') so as to fix fixed protrusions(11,11') formed on both ends of the valve as the valve reciprocates.
