<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electronic instrument capable of preventing a rise in the local temperature of a case by efficiently diffusing the heat of a functional part. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic instrument is provided with the case 4 having a bottom wall 4a, a memory receiving unit 36 formed in the case and provided with an opening 41 opened in the bottom wall, and an electronic component 38 removably received into the memory receiving unit through the opening while accompanying heat generation during operation. The opening is covered by a movable lid 45 while the lid conceals the electronic component.
