PURPOSE: A device and a method for controlling the pre-heating of an engine of a fuel/cell vehicle are provided to improve the performance of an engine in winter by protecting a fuel/cell stack and to obtain a part commonizing effect. CONSTITUTION: A device for controlling the pre-heating of an engine of a fuel/cell vehicle comprises a heating coil(210), a battery(220), a key switch(230), and an ECU(Electronic Control Unit,240). The heating coil is a hot wire coil mounted in a diaphragm(200), and the heating coil heats the air flowing into a fuel/cell. The battery generates power for starting and supplies power for the heating coil with response to the input of a drive control signal supplied from the ECU. The key switch controls the starting of the engine depending on the switching state.
