PURPOSE: An output terminal is provided to reduce parts count and costs, while achieving improved quality and performance of AC generator. CONSTITUTION: An AC generator comprises a stator assembly which is press fit between casings; a rotor shaft having a pulley and which is mounted on the casings; a rotor assembly arranged at the intermediate portion of the rotor shaft; a voltage regulator mounted at the outer surface of the rotor assembly, and which maintains the voltage generated from the rotor and the stator assembly constant; and a rectifier(26) formed by a cathode heat sink(41), an insulator(42), an anode heat sink(43) and a trio terminal assembly(44) which are stacked into a layer and fixed by an eyelet(45). The rectifier has an output terminal(40) for applying the generated current to a battery and electrical devices. The AC generator further includes a spacer(60) for reinforcing the coupling force of the output terminal between the anode heat sink and the cover. The spacer has an insertion hole(62) formed at the center of the spacer so as to accommodate a body(61) of the output terminal, and protrusions formed at the outer surface of the spacer so as to prevent a rotation when a fixing nut(51) and a terminal nut(53) are coupled with each other.
