PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic counting method with high versatility.

SOLUTION: The automatic counting method for automatically counting a plurality of records #1-#10 by using a computer 3 is provided. Each of the plurality of the records #1-#10 includes a value associated with a plurality of respective items. The automatic counting method includes steps for: receiving first specific information for specifying at least one of the plurality of the items as a key item, receiving second specific information for specifying at least one of the plurality of the items as a numeric value item, and binding a counting result of at least one value associated with at least one numeric value item specified by the second specific information of the plurality of the records #1-#10 on each of at least one key item specified by the first specific information.
