PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor and an image processing method, capable of efficiently and accurately adjusting color balance, and to provide a program therefor and a recording medium therefor. SOLUTION: In this image processor 20, a pattern sheet having a plurality of patches for which the amounts of respective element colors are changed in an adjustment gradation is generated by a pattern sheet generation means 20f, the generated pattern sheet is outputted to an image output device 30 and the change amount of the amounts of the respective element colors constituting a plurality of the patches is changed by a change amount changing means 20f.
