PURPOSE: Provided are a far infrared rays heat steamer which is carried along during travel and readily used for treatment by far infrared radiation and a method for producing the same. CONSTITUTION: The far infrared heat steamer includes 20 to 50 wt% of a powder capable of emitting far infrared rays when heat is applied, such as elvan, mica, jade and yellow soil; 40 to 80 wt% of a combustible powder such as charcoal, wormwood, various herbs; and 30 to 50 wt% of water. The powder capable of emitting far infrared rays includes 5 to 20 wt% of yellow soil, 5 to 20 wt% of elvan, 5 to 20 wt% of mica and 5 to 20 wt% of jade. The combustible powder includes 20 to 40 wt% of charcoal and 30 to 50 wt% of a herb.
