<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently manufacture a flexible optical disk having high quality in mechanical characteristics and recording and reproducing signal characteristics by preventing the deformation by a deposition stress and heat during deposition of a recording film. <P>SOLUTION: A rigidity imparting substrate 23 having rigidity on the surface on the side opposite to a transfer surface transferred and formed with a preformat of a stamper 14 and having a high thermal capacity is stuck together to a flexible sheet 8 and thereafter the recording layer 25 is deposited on the transfer surface and is initialized. After the recording layer 25 is initialized, the substrate 23 is peeled from the flexible sheet 8 and the flexible sheet 8 is prevented from being deformed by the stress in depositing the recording layer 25 and the heat in performing the initialization, by which the uniform initialization is performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
