PURPOSE: A coupling nut fixing method is provided to easily fix a fixing member to a coupling member regardless of difference of materials and to prevent the fixing member from being deformed due to a welding work. CONSTITUTION: A coupling nut fixing method comprises the steps of preparing a pressed portion(15a) integrally formed with a coupling nut(10) and has a sectional area smaller than a sectional area of the coupling nut(10). A perforation hole(31) is formed in the fixing member corresponding to a sectional shape of the pressed section(15a). The coupling nut(10) is arranged such that the pressed section(15a) is positioned in the perforation hole(31). Then, a peripheral portion of the perforation hole(31) is deformed so as to press-fit an inner peripheral portion of the perforation hole to an outer peripheral portion of the pressed portion(15a).
