PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an error correction circuit capable of performing prompt error correction processing with a relatively simple configuration in the case of partially receiving ground digital broadcasting. SOLUTION: This error correction circuit for decoding a difference set cyclic code used in both the partial receiving of ground digital broadcasting and the ground digital broadcasting and changing thresholds to perform correction processing n times (n is a natural number), is provided with a means for determining a threshold used for error correction and the number of correction processing times.
