<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To match a listening environment with a development environment while saving troubles by automatically reproducing the musical piece development environment of a musical piece producer on a system of a musical piece listener automatically to some degree. <P>SOLUTION: Corresponding sound source version information and producing machine kind information are annexed to the edit tone data constituting musical piece data produced by the musical piece producer. The musical piece listener acquires the musical piece data from the musical piece producer through a network and judges whether a device owned by the listener is adaptive to the reproduction of the musical piece data or not while referring to the environmental data of the musical piece data. When the device is not adaptive as the result of judgment, the listener downloads necessary software sound source or data suggested by the environmental data from a server's download library through the network and installs the downloaded data. Since a sound source environment equivalent to the device of the musical piece producer can be reproduced even by the listener's device, the musical performance of musical piece data can be faithfully reproduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
