PURPOSE: An interface and a method for inputting an instruction on a PDA(Personal Digital Assistant) are provided to enable a user to make the instruction to the PDA with one hand without using two hands. CONSTITUTION: A track point(2) receives the up/down and left/right movement of a middle finger by installing to a center of an upper side of a case. A track point device driver converts the movement of the track point(2) into coordinates. An LCD driver expresses the coordinates as the movement of a pointer to an LCD. A return button(1) executes an operation selecting or executing an object directed by the pointer. A right button(3) displays a menu for executing the operation corresponding to the object.
