<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image transfer apparatus for smoothly transferring a means to a network for mobile phones whose transfer rate is insufficient. <P>SOLUTION: A compression processing section 9 compresses moving picture data imaged by a television camera unit TC by each frame according to the JPEG system and a mobile phone N1a transfers the compressed data to the mobile phone network N0.
