<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an immersion tube burner for holding nonferrous metal molten that improves the combustion efficiency of a burner by effectively preheating air with exhaust gas. <P>SOLUTION: The single-ended immersion tube burner comprises an immersion tube 2, a combustion cylinder 3 disposed in the immersion tube 2 so as to form an inner exhaust passage 6b against the immersion tube 2, and the burner 4 disposed in the combustion cylinder 3 so as to form a center air passage 5c against the combustion cylinder 3. The immersion tube 2 forms on an upper outer peripheral surface an inner air passage 5b, an outer exhaust passage 6a and an outer air passage 5a in order from the inside via peripheral walls 7. Exhaust gas G generated in a nozzle part 4a of the burner 4 is emitted via the inner exhaust passage 6b and the outer exhaust passage 6a, and air A is supplied to the nozzle part 4a via the outer air passage 5a, the inner air passage 5b and the center air passage 5c as preheated by the exhaust gas G. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
