PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a release sheet for belt capable of suppressing its waving phenomenon, being uniformly joined to a support member, sufficiently having a linear contact with the belt, and maintaining an excellent paper release performance for a long period of time without scratching a fixing belt at the contact part. SOLUTION: In the release sheet composed of a sheet-like release portion for releasing a paper sheet from the fixing belt of an electrophotographic device and a support portion for supporting the release portion, the support portion and the release portion are joined together by a laser spot welding.
