A support assembly for an H-beam strut is provided to execute restoration work for a road or a railroad having a safety net quickly, to reduce the cost, time and labor required for restoration work and to prevent the loss of soil and rock by separating or re-installing an H-beam strut easily and supporting an H-beam strut with a pair of assemblies. The support assembly for an H-beam strut is composed of a pair of assemblies(20,22) and installed to the lower part of an H-beam strut(10) to be buried under a concrete retaining wall. Each assembly contains: a body(24) projected to make a contact surface(26) adhered closely to an inner side(16) of the H-beam strut having both wing(12,14), and provided with and one or more projections(27) to increase stiffness of each body; a side wall(30) provided with one or more fastening holders(32) or fastening members(34) to assemble with the corresponding assemblies; slots(40) formed between the body and the side wall to fix the wings of the H-beam strut; and an upper cover(50) formed on the body and the side wall, and composed of a lower plate(51) connected to the top of the body by connecting pieces(45), a cover(54) spaced out from the lower plate by plural support plates(52), inclined at the appointed angle to cut off the inflow of outside impurities and provided with an insertion hole(53) to insert the H-beam strut, a side plate(55) connected to a rear plate and the cover and projected to the top of the side wall of the body, a fixture(57) projected to the inside of the connecting piece and inserted to a fixing hole(18) of the wings of the H-beam strut, and a fastening holder(58) having a coupling hole(59) and a fastening member(60) having an incline(62) and a hanging projection(61) to assemble the upper cover of each assembly.
