The cutter holder has a carrier body (1) which can be fixed to a cutter beam (2), in which a controllable setting drive is fitted. A setting element is connected to this drive and is fixed to a cutter head with a cutter carrier (7). A circular cutter (8) can rotate on the knife carrier, and has a spring element (14) to press the cutter against a counter-cutter (13).
