The door lifter (1) consists of a sack barrow type of frame section (2) with a blade which slides under the door leaf. The blade is formed by the first side of an angle plate (4) which in the intended working position extends approximately parallel to the floor or ground. The second side (5) of the angle plate is at right angles to the first side. The angle plate is vertically adjustable on the frame section by its second side. The frame section has at least two parallel struts (6,7) along which the angle plate is vertically movable especially by a hydraulic lifter (8).
