A cartridge assembly (1) used with a conventional caulking gun for mixing an d dispensing components of a material. The cartridge assembly (1) includes a component carrying body that has a plurality of separate component reservoir s and a component flow directing housing at a forward end of the reservoirs. A mixing unit (60) extends between the component flow directing housing and a discharge nozzle (8) secured to the front end (3) of the carrying body. The mixing unit (60) mixes the components and delivers them to the discharge nozzle (8). The mixing unit (60) includes a plurality of mixing cylinders (8 9) that each have a longitudinal axis that extends substantially parallel to th e longitudinal axis of the component carrying body. The mixing cylinders (89) and guiding channels (88) that extend between them from at least a portion o f a component mixing path.
