<p>Compressed air is supplied to filter element cleaner-jet nozzles (6), via valves (14) and distributor manifold pipes (10a,10,11,12), from a common compressed-air plenum (15) comprising a main cylindrical vessel (20), to which is sealed a subsidiary chamber (21) extending along the full length of the basic vessel, but only a sector of its surface. The valves are on the outward face of the subsidiary chamber, and connect with the main vessel through ports (50) in the vessel wall. The manifold pipes (10a) extend through the main vessel and ports (50), to connect with the valves.</p> |
