The arrangement has continuous rails supported on several weighing beams (5) in a weighing track section and transverse force sensors (9,9a-9f) attached to the rails in pairs, whereby a weighing section is formed between each two pairs of sensors. Several pairs of sensors are arranged at both ends of the weighing track section at a distance from each other and at least one weighing beam is arranged between adjacent pairs. AN Independent claim is also included for the following: (a) a method of weighing rolling railway carriages.
