An amphibious bicycle assembly, comprising a bicycle portion and a flotation portion attached thereto to permit the bicycle to be operated on a body of water, the bicycle having a number of anchor locations, the flotation portion having a number of attachment means for attaching the anchor portion to the anchor locations, the flotation portion having a frame supporting a pair of first flotation bodies in spaced relation to provide a bicycle receiving region, the bicycle having a pair of wheels, a rear one of which includes an threaded axle, the attachment means including a pair of flanges extending from the frame portion and into the bicycle receiving region and in the region of the threaded axle , each flange including a passage to receive the threaded axle in order to be fastened thereto.
