The invention relates to a sheet of support paper (1), for the application of cosmetic products which is impregnated with or covered in (a) substance(s) or powder(s), characterised in having at least one margin (3) with no substance or powder. The invention further relates to a method for production of said sheets (1), whereby a mixture comprising a cosmetic product is applied by means of a pick-up roller on a web of paper, characterised in that at least one strip of material is placed between the roller and the web with a weak adherence, lifting the roller and thus avoiding contact between the roller and the web, at least in one zone of said web.
