<p>A soft golf grip capable of solving such problems with a conventional hard grip that a player cannot cope with a change of hand shape taken during addressing and when a club is raised to a back swing top position to that taken when a grip is firmly grasped by hands instantaneously when a ball is hit, a power is lost, and a kinetic energy is merely transmitted dispersedly to the grip, wherein a deformable soft material 1 capable of following up the change of the hand shape such as a chloroprene foam body rubber of about 10 deg., 3.5 mm thick, and 20 mm wide is installed spirally on the surface of a hard grip 2, whereby, since the grip is fitted closely to a palm and the power can be transmitted uniformly to the grip in wide range, a carry can be extended, and a directivity can be stabilized. The hard grip and foam body rubber must not be fixed to each other with adhesive agent since they must be freed intentionally to utilize the concentration of such a dispensation of nature that both hands of a person are narrowed down inward instantaneously when the ball is hit.
